Thanks for joining me! This journey of life has twists and turns that we never expect. We try and imagine where we want to go in life and sometimes we are thrown on a route never imagined. Sometimes that route comes through deep pain and emotional trauma and sets our course in unexpected ways. Just like waves of an ocean that carry you.
I never expected to be here. Widowed. Or writing. And I don’t have it all figured out. Some days those waves toss you around leaving you coughing and trying to catch your breath. Other times, the sun glistens on the water’s surface and the breeze teases your face and you can breathe in the beauty of the sunset.
We are challenged to know what (or Who) our anchor is. We are pushed into new horizons where we look back and see how far we have come. As humans we all experience hurt, loss, and trauma and all seek healing and hope. Let it humble us to make us the best version of ourselves.
